Let’s talk about legacy for a moment.
Because legacy isn’t always what gets handed down. Sometimes, it’s what you have to claw your way out of.
Some stories don’t start with a silver spoon.
Some don’t even start with a spoon at all.
Mine starts with women—resilient, fractured, fiery, forgotten. Women who survived beasts that didn’t love them. Systems that didn’t protect them. Choices that weren’t really choices.
I am the daughter of those women. But I am not the continuation of their pain—I’m the interruption. I was born to break the cycle.
A disruptor of chaos in beautiful packaging.
The Women Before Me
My great-grandmother was beautiful, feisty, and eventually—taken. Beaten by the man who claimed her, abused until her body gave up. Her children were left behind—neglected, unsupported, discarded. My grandmother, just a girl herself, raised her siblings and her own daughter with nothing but grit and God.
No inheritance. No soft landings. Just survival.
Then came my grandmother’s story. She spent her life caring for all of us, her children, her grandchildren, a husband of 40+ years. Constantly pouring into others, eventually losing sight of her own goals and aspirations. While she has no zest for life in her later years, she continues to be the glue that keeps it all together, this dysfunctional family of ours.
And then there’s my mother...
A mirror, a rebellion, and a warning. Always trying to prove she was more than what life tried to convince her of. She was a survivor. But she wasn’t healed though she understood the concepts.
And hurt people—especially mothers—leave marks on their daughters, even when they’re trying not to.
I Paved A New Way
The generation meant to fix it. The “strong one.” The one who watched everyone before her sink and said, “Not me.” I left at 17. No safety net. No trust fund. No roadmap. Just a dream and the decision to never go back.
I made it to college. I survived corporate America. I hit 6-figures before 30. I traveled the world. I worked two jobs, burned myself out, built myself back up. I didn’t have anyone to show me how—but I made it anyway.
And still…
Even with all that fight and fire, I found myself back in the same space I left as a teenager. Not because I failed—but because growth requires release. And because sometimes, the Universe will send you back to the place that broke you to show you how much you’ve grown. I had to let go of everything I built, to make room for what I truly craved which was my freedom. I didn't want to give my life to a corporation anymore, I didn't want to tie my worth to my productivity. I wanted to see the world, share my gifts with people, pursue my passions. Let's not forget the quality time I need to spend with my cat (lol).
"This Isn’t Just My Story. This Is Ancestral Alchemy."
I was born to write a different ending. To refuse the narrative of struggle-as-identity.
To say, “It ends here.” Not just for me—but for the women who never had a chance to choose themselves. I am the one who walks away. From jobs that drain me. From partners who abused me. From generational patterns that expected me to accept less than I deserve.
I Am Not The Product of My Circumstances.
I Am the Proof They Don’t Define Me.
This isn’t a story about pain. It’s a story about power.
It’s about what happens when a girl from a lineage of survival becomes a woman of sovereignty. When she stops apologizing for wanting more. When she learns that softness is strength and self-worth isn’t earned by playing small and accepting the bare minimum.
This is a story for the ones breaking cycles so deep they’re stitched into their DNA. The ones healing wounds they didn’t cause. The ones who chose freedom—knowing it would cost them comfort. You weren’t just born, you were sent.
To do what they couldn’t. To heal what they buried. To live out loud what they had to silence.
So if you’ve ever wondered why your path is so heavy, why your lessons come with destruction, why your life demands so much from you?
It’s because you’re here to turn survival into sovereignty. Pain into purpose. Inheritance into intention.
This is your reminder: You are not broken. You are becoming.
And if you ever need someone who sees the full picture, who knows what it means to carry legacy and still choose yourself—I’m here.
